Boogie Beat Music and Movement Stockport
Boogie Beat classes and workshops consist of a mix of singing, dancing and role play and are suitable for children aged 6 months to 5 years with an aim to build communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development. In our sessions we tell stories using pictures, actions and puppets. We map the stories with our beautiful illustrations and then step the story as we dance it out with our bespoke music. This brings the stories and adventures to life as we become part of the story using imagination in a fun, lively and active way.
The songs and dances in the rest of each session is linked to the story/topic or adventure we have been part of and beautiful puppets are used from our Toy Box to sing songs, both traditional and new plus various props are introduced throughout the sessions like parachutes, instruments, bean bags and gym balls to add movement and skill, such as balance and coordination to the activities.
Our Music and Movement sessions are educational, energetic and above all great fun! We use our own unique music and traditional story illustrations within our lesson plans, they are a great way for the children to develop their communication, imagination and creativity, but also their physical development with it being so active.
