Last month the centre co-hosted a community event alongside Plastic Free Romiley (http://www.plasticfreeromiley.weebly.com) raising awareness about the amount of plastics we all use. The bottle tops have been collected locally by members of the community and brought to the centre. We then cleaned and sifted through the hundreds of lids ready to start creating. The bottle top mosaic is coming along nicely but still not finished so if you’d like to get involved in helping create this piece of art then we will be at Romiley Market this Saturday 6th July from 10am.
